Montes Cherub Rosé and Cono Sur Sparkling Brut were recommended by beverage expert Karsten Thurfjell in this weeks Meny, a radio programme about gastronomy in P1.
In this weeks Meny in Swedish Radio P1, beverage expert Karsten Thurfjell recommended two Chilean wines; Cono Sur Sparkling Brut, that he suggested with regular dishes as shrimps with garlic and chili, and Montes Cherub Rosé, which can be found, in limited amount, at Systembolaget from June 1st.

Montes Cherub Rosé 2009 Colchagua Article number at Systembolaget: 99084 Price: 99 SEK/750 ml The wine is made of Syrah and its aroma is described as fruity and young, with hints of wild raspberry, cherry, strawberry and fresh herbs. Its taste is described as dry and fruity, with hints of wild raspberry, cassis caramel, cherry and fresh herb. Serve at 8°C, with salads or dishes of grilled fish or chicken. |

Cono Sur Sparkling Brut Valle del Bío-Bío Article number at Systembolaget: 6894 Price: 80 SEK/750 ml Systembolaget describes the aroma as young, with hints of green apple, kiwi, peach and citrus. The flavour is described as dry, young, mineral, with hints of green apple, kiwi, peach and citrus. Serve at 8°C as aperitif or with light dishes of fish and seafood. Alcohol percentage: 12 % |
